Our Survivor Advocacy program is for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or sex trafficking who are not living in our Residential Crisis Center. Survivors are paired with an advocate who assists with a range of supportive strategies, services, and guidance. Advocates in this program provide services in an outpatient, or non-residential, setting.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n What is an Advocate?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n An advocate is a professional who is trained to assist domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking survivors. The goal of an advocate is to partner with you and empower you to find your own inner strength during your healing journey.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n What can an Advocate do?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Your advocate can help you develop a safety plan, set goals, help you navigate different systems, apply for a personal protection order, and accompany you to court hearings. Your advocate can help you find resources and offer referrals to help you attain your goals for housing, legal aid, employment, transportation, and assistance with crime survivor’s compensation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Our advocacy services are tailored to each survivor\u2019s needs. You set your own goals and let us know what we can do to be supportive of your journey.
